Big Five of the Mediterranean

Synopsis

Abruzzi National Park is one of the oldest national park in Europe still offering the opportunity for large predators and their preys to live a totally wild life in Mediterranean mountain wilderness, although often they must interact with tourists, farmers and shepherds. The film follows all the year round the biggest 5 animals of the park: the red deer, the chamois, the golden eagle, the wolf and the brown bear. Throughout rare and beautiful images, the film reveals the complex web of relationships that make these mountains a paradise of the Mediterranean unique biodiversity.
