February 4th, 2020, for the first time in the History of the USA, the president delivering the traditional state of the Union speech is under an impeachment proceeding.
As Trump concludes his address to the nation, Nancy Pelosi, speaker of the House, standing right behind him, ostensibly tears, page after page, the speech of the President who leaves the gallery under the cheers of his supporters. Never the political divide has been so tense. Never hatred at the head of the state has been displayed in such manner. Never, as the world fights a deadly pandemic which requires its strong leadership, the American democracy has been so weakened.
How did the United States get there? This film is the story of 200 days of one of the most brutal political battles in Washington’s history, between the presidency and the Congress.
